Course overview
This virtual training session will provide an insight into how in-house marketers and marketers with responsibility for brands can optimise, enhance and maximise the customer journey and experience that they deliver to their audiences, from brand discover through to conversion.
The session will take the audience through key stages of optimising a digital user journey – awareness, content for brand discovery, informational content and assisting conversion.
Each section should go over the fundamental principles of each stage, focusing on why it plays an important role in the marketing process and provide actionable advice on how to optimise their marketing for that particular purpose.
Course description
The course is divided into six sessions, with expert speakers taking you through the key insights, learnings and takeaways at every single stage.
Firstly, Stuart Shaw will introduce the session, explaining just how what we're discussion fits into your SEO marketing strategy.
Jack Nottidge will discuss how search marketers can identify those all important “micro-moments” – the moments of realisation that triggers a search journey – and build their search marketing strategy around them.
Peter Adams will take that insight and explain, using real-world examples, how marketers can use content to create remarkable branded content that genuinely enhances the customer experience.
Lauren Heaven will then discuss how marketers can make the most of informational content - often the unsung hero of SEO and ecommerce - to be there for your audiences when they need you most.
Then, our CRO manager Will Garbutt will explain how you can make the most of that new-found traffic by optimising your conversion processes, understanding the psychological anxieties that consumers have about commiting to purchase, and how you can overcome those.
Finally, we end the session by inviting our speakers back for a Q&A session, where we round-up what we've discussed to hopefully give you the insight that you need to develop your SEO strategy.
Who is this course for?
In house marketers will gain the most from this session - particularly those for whom SEO and content marketing are a big part of their role.
